Cake It

Magically, I've managed to stay clear of the busy shops and crazy x-mas preparations. But cake - I'll happily eat! These are all made by my dear friend Line (who I went to Thailand with + lived in London with). She makes the most fantastic cakes - a true TALENT!

My Colorful Way

Yesterdays post reminds me a bit about my own colorful tree logs. A few years ago, I headed out by night, to spray-paint these huge logs. It was while I lived in Copenhagen, and I had this sudden urge to do it. I still dig the colorful sight!

Colour Pencils

I found this nice post at this very nice blog: Helsinki based artist Jonna Pohjalainen spent a summer at an environmental art workshop, where she would sit quietly taking in the rural landscape, sharpening her pencils and watching the sunset.  She was instantly inspired to turn grey aspen logs into an enormous and charming sculpture, titled Colour Pencils. 

Aren't they incredibly NICE!?!

Daytime DJ

My young-cool-fashionista-friend Jonas stopped by. He has this blog! It was right before I was off to Thailand and the Burma-boarder. Quote Jonas: "Burma is very HOT these days! Very NOW!" ... Priceless :)

Scrabble on a Friday Night

We customized the game; with cheese-doodle-balls functioning as "open letters". The smallest of us three players is seven years old. And he kicks ass. Oh, and our concrete dining table is home made.
