I'd like to introduce this photography project to you, shot by The Wade Brothers. 

The Wade Brothers are David Lindsey Wade and sibling Lyndon Wade who are both recognized as one of the top lifestyle, fashion and advertising photographers in the world. They have received worldwide acclaim and exposure for their work in all forms of media. Additionally their work appears in galleries around the world. 

In this project they have staged what could have happened in this hotel room. So next time you're staying in a hotel, let your imagination fly :)

The Pro Belt

I walked by this wedding photographer on saturday and had to stop; cause check out this belt!! I never carry around this many lenses, but it's such a good idea to carry on the waist and not have them allover the place. The belt will definitely be my new buy.

Some work // Hanne Mugaas

It's been a long long time since I've posted any of my work. For two reasons; when I'm at the busiest and do the most work, I rarely have the time to gather all my clippings and file them. I have done that now, and am updating my website with work from the past year.

The other reason is that I'm working full-time now - until next summer - making/creating "Aftenposten Junior" (the new kids-paper). So I'm wearing an ID-card around my neck every day, I check into the office, have morning-meetings and drink coffee by the coffee-machine. All of that stuff. The beauties of office life, ey...

Therefore I don't run around on different things every day at the moment.
Although I do keep up with some exciting jobs once in a while. I'll keep you posted!

Anyway - this piece was done exactly a year ago, and was published in KUNST this spring. It's an interview & portrait picture I did in New York, with the super clever and independent curator Hanne Mugaas. I quite like the portrait, which is taken in front of her husband Cory Archangel's artwork.

Corn'y Sunday

A month ago Espen took me out to the corn-fields for a day of corn-picking! It was my first time, for him it was a normal autumn ritual. I loved gathering food from the nature. It's fun and tastes better! Now we have the freezer filled with nice yellow yummy corn.

The Glow // Maryam Nassir Zadeh

The Glow is a really really inspiring blog (to me), and I suppose to anyone who's a mother, or anyone who'll one day become one, and is quite into fashion, interior and photography. 

The Glow is a glimpse into the world of inspiring and fashionable moms! :) Their styling ideas, multitasking secrets, and enviable homes. The blog is edited by by Violet Gaynor anf photographed by Kelly Stuart. 

I'm quite frightened of the thought of one day becoming a mother. I really really hope I will, but I hope there still will be some SPACE in my life for all those things I love doing. All those egoistic and self-centered things; having time to myself, hanging out with my wonderful boyfriend, friends, my yoga, my work, exploring things, doing creative stuff, reading the newspapers, etc etc.  

The Glow makes me dream. Life isn't that polished, but still, dreaming that it's possible to keep doing what I'm doing, feels pretty good.

Let them Eat Lobster, NYC

In august Espen and I went to NYC for a week. My cousin A-S and my friend Andrea were both so kind to let us stay with them. To say thank you, we made a decadent lobster-dinner in return, in Andrea's apartment! A fantastic meal, which started with a venture down to china-town.

Stalking Taryn Simon

I love Taryn Simon's work. So much, that when I saw her during a photography festival in Arles (France) a few years ago, I followed her!! Stalked her! For at least five minutes, through the streets of this tiny little french town, just to see what she was like! 

Madness!

In Arles she won the "Les Rencontres D’Arles Discovery Award 2010". She's based in New York. Her project "The Innocents" captured portraits of wrongly accused death-row inmates. 

Here are two of the portraits, at the scene of the alleged crime.

Gray Marlin hits the Beach
