INSPIRE JAPAN with PECHA KUCHA

Along with a bunch of other great people I'm organizing Pecha Kucha Nights here in Oslo. Japan has inspired the world for hundreds of years - and we want to pay it back!

Now we've put our minds together to do something to inspire them. On April 16, many of the 400 PechaKucha cities around the world will come together and hold events, broadcasting out to the world and Japan over multipule Ustream. If you live her in Oslo, stay tuned. We'll be asking all former speakers to get involved and we're sure the result will be inspiring!

Check it out here / get involved / donate / or be inspired: http://global-day.pecha-kucha.org/

Performing at Nåløyet Fashion Award with Marte Krogh

Marte and I have collaborated quite a few times now... she plays the violin and I DJ and it's a pretty cool and unexpected combination. With a lot of girl-power!! This time we performed just before Oslo Fashion Week, at the fashion award ceremony called Nåløyet. I just received the film from the evening, which was produced by HENNE fashion magazine, and here are some stills! Juhuuu!

Photo-stills from the film produced by HENNE fashion magazine. Thank you!

3 weeks in brazil - only 3 hours on the beach!!

I spent three weeks in Brazil, but only three hours on the beach. Is it even possible?? i guess so, there were so many other things to do. Here I'm catching some sun during a cloudy day in Rio, ha ha!
Reading a Brazilian gossip magazine. After celebrating the carnaval in Salvador with footballer Rai, and with all the gozzip-photographers following him, I had to have a look. He was there!

My home in Rio

This is where I stayed in Rio, in a beautiful house in the neighbourhood of Urca, with a view to the Jesus statue. I stayed with my mothers third cousin Vibeke. I had a lovely time. Was really taken care of! Thank you!!

Cozinha Aberta

My friend Deborah Doitschinoff runs this very nice restaurant in Lençóis. She serves food inspired from all corners of the world. If you've followed my blog, Deborah is the one who made green pasta in her kitchen. She makes everything from scratch and is a great cook. I stood next to her and took notes, chatted and tasted :)

Lençóis

Beautiful, huh?? No wonder I stayed here for a week instead of just a day or two...
